FLAT PRINTING
Flat printing, also known as digital printing, applies ink to the surface of the paper but does not leave a raised or pressed texture. Flat printing allows for multiple vivid colors to be printed at one time.
LETTERPRESS
Letterpress is when one ink color at a time is applied to a plate and then pressed into paper giving a debossed, textured effect. The thicker the paper, the deeper and more impactful the impression can be.
ENGRAVING
Engraving is when one ink color at a time is applied to a metal plate and then stamped with intense pressure against paper to give a luxuriously raised ink texture. Engraving creates finely detailed lettering and designs, with slight indentations on the reverse side of the paper.
FOIL STAMPING
Foil printing uses heat to apply a matte or shiny foil material to the surface of the paper, leaving a slight impression like letterpress. Unlike other print methods where different ink colors can be mixed, foils come in a limited amount of set colors.
EMBOSSING
Embossing is the same process as engraving except no ink is applied to the plate. The result is an extremely detailed raised design using the texture of paper. We offer multi-level embossing for even more dimension in the artwork.
DIE CUTTING
Die cutting uses a steel rule die to cut the paper in unique shapes and designs. Die cutting allows us make custom envelope shapes, add wavy edges to an invitation or turn your details card into a fun shaped alligator.
